ClaimsPro is pleased to announce the launch of a convenient online enrollment tool for independent adjusters to join the company’s dedicated Catastrophe (CAT) Adjuster Team. The enrollment form is available on ClaimsPro’s website (www.claimspro.ca/CAT), and provides an easily accessible means for independent adjusters to apply.
ClaimsPro’s CAT response unit is comprised of a designated group of highly-qualified adjusters available to respond quickly to unplanned natural or man-made catastrophic events. Joining the CAT team presents an ideal opportunity for experienced independent or retired adjusters seeking contract or temporary claim assignments. Opportunities are available in both Canada and the USA and this independent CAT response team is backed by ClaimPro’s geographical reach, adjuster expertise, and investment in technology.
“We are delighted to release this online enrollment form and believe it provides independent adjusters with a flexible opportunity to work with ClaimsPro,” said Lorri Frederick, President of ClaimsPro. “Our clients truly benefit from the knowledge and experience demonstrated by our CAT adjuster team during catastrophic events, and we look forward to growing this group’s capacity and continue providing comprehensive claims support.”
When unplanned disasters occur, ClaimsPro has the proven ability to provide efficient coverage and immediate response by following an established CAT Response Plan and utilizing available resources from more than 120 branches and over 800 adjusters. In 2016 and 2017, ClaimsPro’s CAT team managed over 6,000 claims and mass evacuation calls including the Fort McMurray fires in Alberta, the Williams Lake fires in British Columbia, and hurricane disasters in Florida.
Applicants interested in joining ClaimsPro’s independent CAT adjuster team should have at least three years’ relevant claims experience. Additional qualifications include having effective analytical skills, the ability to identify cause and effect dynamics, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively deal with conflict and difficult situations. Experience and knowledge of Xactimate/Xactware is preferred, and having a valid adjuster’s license in their province or state of residence or certifications, as well as being bilingual are considered advantageous.
Independent adjusters can join the CAT Adjuster Unit by enrolling directly on ClaimsPro’s website at www.claimspro.ca/claims-adjusting/cat-response-team.
