– ClaimsPro, Canada’s independent adjusting and claims management leader, continues to provide claims support in response to the windstorms that have resulted in extensive damage to the Ontario and Quebec regions on May 4th and 5th.
To help process the extremely large volume of calls, ClaimsPro has called in resources and support from across the country, as well as from our U.S. partners, to further increase capacity and expedite the claims process for our clients.
The storms, which saw wind gusts in excess of 110 km/h, have resulted in blackouts affecting nearly half a million customers across the two provinces, as well as considerable property damage throughout the region, including numerous damaged roofs from the high winds and fallen trees.
“First and foremost, ClaimsPro’s thoughts are with affected residents in the region,” began Lorri Frederick, President of ClaimsPro. “We are focused on using our skill sets, scale, and related capacity to process claims as rapidly as possible, and provide whatever assistance necessary as the region recovers.”
ClaimsPro and our SCM sister companies remain ready to provide additional assistance as damage is assessed and the recovery process continues.
