ClaimsPro has mobilized resources across British Columbia to support its clients affected by the ongoing wildfires in the region. ClaimsPro has readied its CAT team, comprised of 122 adjusters from 26 branch offices in British Columbia, with an additional 90 adjusters from 11 branch offices in Alberta available to assist. In addition to these local resources, ClaimsPro continues to leverage the combined capabilities of over 800 adjusters and more than 120 branches from coast to coast.
The ClaimsPro team stands with the community at this difficult time and understands what it takes to deal with insurance claims related to catastrophic events. As Canada’s largest independent adjusting company, ClaimsPro has extensive experience handling catastrophes of this scope and beyond. ClaimsPro has the ability to set up CAT Command Centres anywhere in Canada, allowing the company to manage the situation on the ground effectively.
As a member of the SCM group of companies, ClaimsPro will leverage additional support from its sister companies. Xpera Risk Mitigation & Investigation and ESM, SCM’s security division, have resources to provide site monitoring, patrol, and security in all affected regions. Pario Engineering and Environmental Sciences is ready to deploy engineers and environmental consultants to conduct structural and environmental damage assessments when needed. As SCM’s provider of risk management oriented products and services, SCM Risk Management Services has its rmsQuantify™ division ready to address the need for third party, independent appraisals of residential or commercial properties post-loss. Cira Health Solutions has province-wide medical assessors on standby to support insurers, the legal community, and employers with decision making as it relates to management of physical or mental health claims associated with this tragic event. Lastly, leveraging SCM’s analytic arm, Opta Information Intelligence can deliver geo-coded mapping to help identify potentially damaged properties, pre and post loss assessment including iClarify™ valuations for all insured homes in affected areas. This mapping can help identify the likelihood of damage to accelerate the claims process.
ClaimsPro is ready to assist 24/7 with our people, process, and technology as this situation continues to develop. Please reach out to your contacts at ClaimsPro and as well don’t hesitate to contact Anita Paulic, ClaimsPro’s Operations Manager, Western Region, at 604-802-6460 or via email at anita.paulic@scm.ca. Anita will be coordinating ClaimsPro’s Command Centre services.
