ClaimsPro, Canada’s leading provider of independent claims adjusting services and an SCM company, today announced Anita Paulic will transition into a broader national operations role, overseeing ClaimsPro’s CAT and SMART Field Inspection services. Ms. Paulic has been a part of ClaimsPro since 2011, and most recently held the position of Director of Operations, Western Canada.
A Risk Management and Operations professional, Ms. Paulic has worked in the insurance industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining ClaimsPro, she served as IT/Operations Coordinator for a national claims organization, and as a Risk Management Administrator for a large municipality. Specializing in operations and process management, Ms. Paulic has overseen and directed ClaimsPro’s response to CAT events across Canada since 2011.
In her new role as Director of Operations & Catastrophe Response, Ms. Paulic will oversee and manage ClaimsPro’s CAT Response Team nationwide. ClaimsPro’s CAT Response Team provides comprehensive and efficient coverage across Canada should a catastrophic or high-volume event occur. Comprehensive local coverage from over 800 Adjusters operating out of 100 branch locations empowers ClaimsPro to mobilize adjusters and respond quickly to severe weather and catastrophic events. As Director of this team, Ms. Paulic understands the impact of a CAT on insureds, and ensures her experienced team members are sensitive to their insureds’ situations and provide the professional care and attention needed.
Ms. Paulic will also be responsible for leading ClaimsPro’s SMART Field Inspections services as well as the Valuate team of professional property estimators. ClaimsPro’s SMART Field Inspections allow claims to be handled remotely using mobile technology and a 360-degree camera supported by a secure backend platform. These are used for both residential and commercial property losses. This interactive technology is driving change in the claims process for a quicker, more cost-efficient, and improved customer experience with a better claims event overall. ClaimsPro has been utilizing this technology since 2018.
“Anita Paulic’s appointment reinforces our company’s commitment to providing clients with the most comprehensive claims adjusting and management services, with a particular focus on thorough inspections and quick response during catastrophic events,” states Lorri Frederick, President of ClaimsPro. “We are pleased to have her leading this team.”
Ms. Paulic will continue to be based out of ClaimsPro’s Vancouver branch location. She can be reached by telephone at 604-637-1070 or via email at anita.paulic@scm.ca.
