ClaimsPro, Canada’s leading provider of independent claims adjusting services and an SCM company, today announced the appointments of Joanne Nathan and Amesha Lawrence to the positions of Director of Business Development.
As new members of ClaimsPro’s National Business Development team, Joanne and Amesha will be responsible for growing the business and finding new, exciting opportunities to support clients using ClaimsPro’s broad range of claims and specialty risk management services. Both Joanne and Amesha have been in client support roles within ClaimsPro, and are licensed adjusters who possess an acute understanding of the market’s complexities and the unique needs of each client.
Joanne is an accomplished operations manager with a comprehensive background in both insurance and business development. Joanne’s experience in client management and retention, coupled with years of experience in claims adjusting, has given her a unique understanding of the scope and complexity of claims management, business development, and client service. Before her current appointment, Joanne served as Manager for ClaimsPro’s National Claims Unit (NCU), where she honed her abilities and enhanced her business development experience.
Amesha is an exceptional insurance professional, bringing a wide range of experience in account management, client service, claims adjusting, and underwriting to her new role. Before joining the Business Development team, Amesha was an Account Manager for ClaimsPro’s National Accounts, where she managed key client relationships in Canada and the U.S., aligning claims handling protocols, service delivery, and auditing to meet client needs, while providing mentorship support to her team. Amesha has also developed several training seminars throughout her career on adjusting and loss related topics to support clients.
Based in Toronto, Joanne and Amesha will report into Wendy Scott, Senior Vice President, National Business Development and Corporate Solutions.
