On May 27, WICC Ontario unites the insurance community for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Annual Relay For Life! And this year, ClaimsPro is proud to be a Silver Sponsor!
At Relay For Life events, participants of all ages create teams or register individually and take turns walking around a track or path to symbolize the perseverance and action needed to improve lives and change the future of cancer forever.
“Since joining the Sole Sisters in 2024, Relay For Life has become more than just a walk, says Shannon Hoyt, Vice President, Central Canada. “It’s a reminder of the strength, hope, and compassion that bring people together. The Sole Sisters are a group united by experiences with cancer, whether through family, friends, colleagues, or personal journeys.
“Together, we support one another while raising funds and awareness to help make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Through several fundraisers throughout the year, we are proud and excited to be working toward our goal of raising $20,000 this year. Every step taken at Relay For Life honors those affected by cancer, celebrates survivors, remembers loved ones, and helps ensure that no one faces cancer alone.”

Relay for Life takes place on Wednesday, May 27 from 5:30 to 9:00 pm at the Stackt Market (28 Bathurst St, Toronto). Whether you participate for an hour or the entire event, your presence sends a powerful message of support and unity.
