ClaimsPro welcomes back Wendy Scott as President to lead next phase of growth in Canada

20 July 2026

TORONTO – ClaimsPro, Canada’s leading independent claims adjusting firm, today announced the appointment of Wendy Scott as President of ClaimsPro, effective August 17. The new appointment reinforces Davies’ continued confidence and ongoing investment in the Canadian market.

Wendy Scott is returning to ClaimsPro where she previously spent 21 years progressing through a number of senior leadership roles. She is a respected leader in the Canadian insurance industry, bringing more than 23 years of experience in business development, client engagement and strategic growth. Her extensive knowledge of ClaimsPro's operations, deep industry relationships and proven track record of delivering growth, innovation and client value will position the business for continued success across Canada and North America. Scott succeeds Lorri Frederick, who was made Interim President in June 2026.

Wendy returns to ClaimsPro at a significant moment in the company’s evolution following its acquisition by Davies in 2025. Her appointment supports the firm’s continued growth strategy and reinforces Davies’ long-term commitment to the Canadian market.

“Canada remains a strategically important market for Davies and Wendy’s appointment represents an exciting next chapter for ClaimsPro,” said Dhara Patel, CEO – North America, Davies. “Wendy brings a deep understanding of our business, our clients and the Canadian insurance market, along with a proven track record of driving growth and building strong partnerships. Her appointment reflects Davies' continued confidence in the Canadian market, our ongoing investment in our people and technology, and our commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients across North America. I would also like to thank Lorri Frederick for her leadership as Interim President and for helping position the business for its next chapter."

“I am delighted to be rejoining ClaimsPro and taking on this new role,” said Wendy Scott, President of ClaimsPro. “Having spent much of my career at ClaimsPro, I know first-hand the exceptional talent, strong client relationships and outstanding reputation that define this business. I am excited to return at such an important time, and I look forward to working closely with our teams across Canada and the rest of the world as we continue to invest in our capabilities and strengthen client partnerships.”

Following Davies’ acquisition of ClaimsPro’s parent company in November 2025, ClaimsPro became part of Davies. For clients, this has brought access to a broader international network and a wider set of specialist capabilities, with over 9,500 professionals operating in over 22 countries. As a Davies company, ClaimsPro benefits from global resources and specialized expertise while continuing to maintain operational centers across Canada and delivering best-in-class service.
